upgraded to modx 3 now media sources (I usually always have 2 for all my websites). can not be accessed.
I am not sure why it give me a 500 error
I can also not add a new one.
however in the resources I can access the deault one, I just can not change it.
any one had similar issues?
Do you have a specific error message?
There should be a PHP error log somewhere on your server. The exact location depends on the server configuration.
Was this a direct upgrade from 2.8.4 to 3.0.1 without installing version 3.0.0?
(Iām not sure if that is relevant, though.)
Basically its server error leads to unexpected condition.
How are you doing the upgrade for modx ?
ok fixed it
turns out that Gallery snippet does not really like modx3 yet, and it writes its own media source path causing some sort of issue tthat prevents it from loading.
I uninstalled Gallery and it works fine
