Resource Alias - Special Characters

I’m starting a new project for a friend and a lot of his pages have special characters like áéíóú in the titles but he doesn’t want to see them in the resource alias. He wants them to translate to the normal vowels like below. Is there a way to do that?

  • á - a
  • é - e
  • í - i
  • ó - o
  • ú - u

I believe you can use the extra translit for that

and then set the friendly_alias_translit system setting.
