Non youtube video in page content

I would love to be able to (auto)play a video (likely an .MP4) :vhs: in my page content. I add it through the image option :framed_picture: in the content. I have TinyMCE Rich Text Editor installed to do that. It only shows the alt text of the video.

MODx version: 3.0.2-pl

What is the best way to go forward? :upside_down_face:

See if anything here helps.

It does help a bit. Thanks. I also searched for this.

I am wondering though if there is a way that it can be managed from within MODx? I have Design students who need to be able to get this done from within the CMS without coding. :man_technologist: :woman_technologist:

Try using “Insert” → “Media…” instead.
