MODX 3.01: Different Core directory?

Hi all,

in MODX 2.8.x installations for security reasons I use different directories for connectors, core and manager.

in MODX 3.0.1. I got the following error:

**Fatal error**: Uncaught Error: Class "MODX\Revolution\modX" not found in /www/xxx/index.php:41 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in **/www/xxx/index.php** on line **41**

can i no longer use different paths?

Hey @fritzkola …

I believe this is no longer possible in MODX 3.x

You can achieve the same level of security via your .htaccess file as described in that article.
