Let template variable set alias of resource

Hi there!
I wonder if I can make a TV that sets the alias of the resource the TV is on.
Got any ideas?

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I suppose you could create a plugin that runs on the event OnDocFormSave, reads the value of the TV and writes it to the alias field of the resource, but why would you want to do that?

Mmm yes. Maybe I should thing it more through.

So this is going on:
Client wants to change the alias. But he never looks at settngs part of the resource. So I wanted to create a tv that changes it for him. (he does use tvs very often)

But I think I will solve this problem differently. Thanks for you help!
