Is there an official Docker image for MODX?

Hi there,
I was wondering if there is an official Docker image for MODX (something like modx/modx on Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry). I’ve only seen community examples and custom setups, but nothing that looks officially maintained.

No, there’s not an official one. It would be nice, but we haven’t invested in maintaining one.

I’ve been able to use Zed and it’s llm panel to build out several configurations of a local docker environment relatively easily. You should be able to ask any of the main models to build a docker config to build modx container locally. Then you can use it to troubleshoot. I’ve got mine using modx-cli and setup as an mcp server to build almost everything from zed.
