I am looking to create a ‘support’ page (someone else had created the others) I am looking for advice on how to do this so i dont mess any of the other pages up.
Is it easy enough to link up zoho desk to this, eg a ticketing system.

Never used it, but you should check out the extra called Tickets
If you’re just trying to a create a navigation item that links to ZoHo or Zendesk or something all you need to do is create a weblink and enter the URL in the appropriate spot.
Would not build this with modx since there are complete businesse who firgured this out. Zoho is great but also check raiseaticket.com.
