How do we go about creating an editor group in the manager where users in that group can see only the resource tab and create and edit but not publish documents.
I’ve have attempted this, but ended up with a user that can’t even log in, or ends up seeing everything. Obviously I have something setup wrong.
Is there a tutorial somewhere that covers such a scenario step by step?
EDIT: In a previously created user group from years past that was already supposed to be setup for this, I found some extraneous permissions. Maybe it was from past upgrades to MODx or plugins or who knows what, These were pointing to access policies by numbers instead of the usual name. I couldn’t figure out what those were for so I removed them and everything started behaving normally.
