General question about image+

Hey there,

I want my backend users to be able to crop images, but only allow 3 different aspect ratios I have pre-defined.**

What I don’t want:** Three TVs, each restricted to one of the three aspect ratios.
What I want: One TV in which the backend user can pick an image and choose which of the 3 aspect ratios should be applied to the crop.

Is that how image+ is supposed to work?
If so: How do I achieve that? It seems only the last configuration set is being applied to my TV. I thought there would be a dropdown – or something alike – to pick one of the 3 aspect ratios when cropping.

imageplus.force_config
set to “Yes”

imageplus.select_config
{“name”:“Portrait 3:4”,“targetwidth”:“900”,“targetheight”:“1200”,“targetRatio”:“0.7”},
{“name”:“Landscape 3:2”,“targetwidth”:“1200”,“targetheight”:“800”,“targetRatio”:“1.5”},
{“name”:“Square”,“targetwidth”:“1200”,“targetheight”:“1200”,“targetRatio”:“1”}

I’m going to notify @jako here, as I believe he’s the one who developed it and manages it in case he is able to answer your questions.

This is not possible with the current version of Image+. You have to use ImageCropper for this.

Thanks for the info!
