Few questions about security and update

Greetings everyone.

I have to migrate and update a few modx sites (evo and revo) and have a few security questions : Is the latest version of both system is enough to secure the sites or do you can recommend me some plug-in to install ?

Also is there’s any .htaccess template that I can found ?

I’ve found a plug that allows me to ban IP from foreign countries, is this relevant ?

I’ve been hacked two times so far and I’ve manage to update the Evo to 1.4.11 and the Revo one to 2.7.3. Is there’s any latest version ?

I can’t comment on Evo but in Revo…
You should read the following carefully - further down the article are the steps you should take to secure Revo: https://docs.modx.com/current/en/getting-started/maintenance/securing-modx#

2.7.3 is the latest available version but if you’ve been compromised you really need to run a scan on the affected site. Some examples of tools are mentioned here: https://support.modx.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009725154-Detecting-and-Cleaning-a-Hacked-Website
