I am happy to have launched this new website today:
It runs on MODX 3.1.2, php 8.3. The content is formatted using Markdown and a shortcode engine I developed myself. I also use MIGX to enable customers to integrate any number of images and downloads into each resource. There are only a few flexible templates, which are easy for customers to use thanks to the shortcodes.
For the relaunch, I exported approximately 500 pages from an old website via XML and imported them into the new one, automatically transferring the content to the new Markdown/MIGX concept. Most of the old URLs are still valid. They are rewritten by some htaccess rewrite rules.
After a short online training session, the customer has already started to enter content themselves.
