Is there already an extra that will show in each resource a log of the activities in that resource? I would like to be able to check all the activities in a resource directly on the resource page.
What do you mean by “activities”?
There exists the extra VersionX, that tracks changes to the resource fields (if that is what you’re looking for).

“activities” - logs such as : edication, change of publication, change of text, etc. It is important to be able to see this in the resource (document) e.g. on TV.
There is no extra for that that I know of. It could be done with a custom plugin, but it would be a fairly difficult job.
IIRC, VersionX only records changes to the content field of a resource, but could possibly be modified for your purpose. VersionX writes its data to the DB instead of a TV, but that could be changed.
VersionX 3 can track changes to any resource fields, including TVs. You can see the full diffs of what was changed on the Versions tab of the resource form, or through the VersionX manager page. So it should do what you’re after @ndcstudio.
It can now also track changes to custom objects so it’s not just resources and elements anymore.

No probs! I think you were spot on for the previous version, but a fair bit has changed in the new one.
I’m hoping soon we can get integration between VersionX and Magic Preview, so you’ll be able to press a button to preview the full page render from a particular point in time before reverting.
