I am working with a messy template from another CMS and Wayfinder menu comes out as vertical bulleted list instead of the wanted (regular) horizontal menu-bar.
What should I look for (and change) in my css files?

Your old CMS may have applied class names to your menu items. If it did your CSS will be targetting those class names.
If this is the case you will need to get Wayfinder to output the same class names, or edit your CSS files to match the class names output by Wayfinder.

Thank you Andy.
I did insert some style in one of the css files and got it vertical. Now I just need to polish the output.
I am probably better off starting from scratch next time - yes, or now.
