Have you reported this to james-heinrich? Anything in the vendor package is pulled down via composer.
The “erroneous code” is several years old. This use case doesn’t seem that uncommon. Surely someone must have noticed this bug before.
Am I missing something obvious here?
Anyhow, the “fix” I posted above is wrong for other values of zc (like “T”, “B”, “L”, “R”, “TL”, “TR”, “BL”, “BR”).
So I guess I have to study the phpThumb code more closely.
