MODX revolution 2.8.1 not showing the install packages option under extras

So I’m trying to install a new extra but I cant find the install packages section. I haven’t worked with MODX before so I don’t know how to do it. Is there a way to get to the package installer? If not can I install an add on manually?

Welcome to the MODX forum!

The package installer should be under the top menu Extras → Installer.
Is this a fresh install?
Do you have full admin privileges?
