We operate an established online platform in the German-speaking market and are looking for an experienced MODX developer for a long-term freelance collaboration.
This is not a one-time project. We are looking for a reliable developer who can become familiar with our platform, maintain the existing system and regularly implement new features.
Technology:
- MODX Revolution 3.x with ContentBlocks
- PHP 8
- MySQL
- Vanilla JavaScript
- SCSS/CSS
- Stripe Checkout, Subscriptions, Webhooks and invoicing
- Git
Typical tasks:
- Maintain existing functions and fix bugs
- Develop new frontend and backend features
- Extend and optimise Stripe payment processes
- Modify templates, snippets and ContentBlocks
- Perform smaller database migrations and maintenance work
- Improve performance, accessibility and technical SEO
- Provide clear estimates and tested code
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience with MODX Revolution
- Strong PHP 8 and MySQL knowledge
- Experience working with existing custom code
- Good Vanilla JavaScript and SCSS/CSS skills
- Experience with Git
- Independent and reliable working style
- Good spoken and written German is mandatory
- Some availability during Central European business hours
