Situation: I create a web page that needs to be used in a specific cases and I’d like to have some symbol in the document tree so that I know what I’m looking at. But whatever the title is named, it is the publicly visible. Problem: There’s no internal filing system.

I think to get the answer you want, you maybe need to explain what you mean by ‘to be used in specific cases’. Do you mean published at certain times / hidden at certain times?

If you want the name in the resource tree to be different from the page title displayed on the public-facing side of the site then you can use the “Menu Title” field. You can also change the icon displayed on a per-template basis using the “Icon” field when editing the template. This will apply to all resources that use that template though.
