Formit - 5.1.2 Install Issue

Summary

When attempting to update or install FormIt 5.1.2 , there is an error that the installer cannot find the folder.

It appears the 5.1.2 zip file contains a folder that is called 5.1.1 (which is what gets extracted onto the server during the install process) which may be incorrect

Step to reproduce

Attempt to update to FormIt 5.1.2

Observed behavior

Failed to complete the upload after uploading files

Expected behavior

The package should be successfully install version 5.1.2.

We have managed to successfully install 5.1.1 with no issues.

Environment

Using MODx Version 3.2.0

This package version is a new release from yesterday. There seems to be a general problem with the package. There is already an issue about this on Github:

Not sure what actually got wrong here. I can successfully install the *.zip file from the Github repository (folder _packages in the 3.x branch), but I get the error when I try to install the same package from the modx.com package provider.

I got this error because the package in core/packages was named formit-5.1.1-pl.transport.zip so renamed it to formit-5.1.2-pl.transport.zip and update was successful.

Big mistakes in version 5.1.2!!#

It killed all entries in the formit table. I lost many data.

Are you sure?
Not much has changed in FormIt between version 5.1.1 and version 5.1.2, and nothing that would delete the existing data?
When were “all entries killed”? During the upgrade of the extra?

Maybe it was my fault. I tried some deinstallations, reinstallations and so on with local uploads of versions of 5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.1.2 rc2. One of these steps killed the formit table. I can rebuild it, no problem further.

I’m having problems with version 5.1.2. I want to revert to version 5.1.1. Where can I download it?

I downloaded 5.1.1 from here: FormIt 5.1.1-pl | MODX

Confirmed it’s an odd issue, tried and tried different routes but always failed. Reverted back to 5.1.1.
